Eliminator

When I first saw this mold it just screamed to me, ZZ Top. So I decided to make a custom ZZ Top car and I named him Eliminator. He was a straight up repaint. I cleaned him and then primed the figure in white. I then air brushed Racer Red over that. His Exhaust, bumpers and grill were done in chrome. Unfortunately the chrome dulled as soon as it was clear coated. So here he is. I hope you like him. C&C welcome.

umm.. no offense but I think the chrome dulling thing happened to you with Classics OP as well, so maybe you should learn to mask off the chrome or something? unless you want this look,

But I like the direction yu took in this custom, Especially the graphic in the side

Yes it did happen with OP. The chrome dulls when it's clearcoated. I was going to leave the chrome uncoated but when I tried that it rubbed off when I transformed it. So I said the hell with it and clear coated it anyway. If I tried to mask off the parts, the chrome would have come off with the tape. :eek:

As soon as I read the thread title, I knew what you had done! I love this idea. Just need to work of the minor details. Also, it would be nice to see the bead and sunglasses.

I thought someone might make that mistake. Good idea for a future custom though.:)

Yeah, I did rush him a bit. I have another if I wast to try it again
