I hope to post updates and finished pieces within the next few weeks. Thanks for your continued interest in my work and all the comments and suggestions :)

By the way...Just a quick update on a couple of head sculpts I have finalized for two upcoming figures. Someone mentioned that I should do a Skorr figure (the bounty hunter from Ord Mantell)...well, that was what I was thinking as well...and for awhile too...this head sculpt began years ago but wasn't finalized and refined until the other day.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/grail30/SKORR2-1.jpg

More pics can be found on my Flickr photostream...

Sith_Fire30 's Photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/sith_fire30/)

Also thought I would work on some new Mandalorians - one which I found unique, so unique he is only shown in one panel of the Star Wars Dark Times comics book...an Advozse Mandalorian (no name given) sent to hunt for Dass Jennir. Headsculpt is complete...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/grail30/Advozsec1.jpg

Thanks again for taking the time to look guys!

WOW man. Nice work. Do you sculpt over existing figures or is everything scratch? You use Apoxie Sculpt?

Zartan - I create a "skeleton" from a manjorie of figure parts brought together to give me the articulation require. The skeleton is created by "dremeling down" the form till it resembles a bare frame..similar to how a Master Grade Gundam Model works...you build the articluated frame then add the armor. I add the sculpt to my articulated frame.

Hangar - Dude, thanks for the comments - I do work in the art profession as an Art Director for a Manufacuring company. I work mainly in graphic and industrial design. I've had classical training in sculpture and worked in large scale pieces many years ago...but today, the sculpt work I do is in the 1:18 scale..and is an enjoyable hobby.

Hey guys, thought I better bring this thread up to date and reply to a few questions that were asked. Sorry for the delay in getting back with anyone - Some of you that visit rebelscum or Yakface forums, my Flickr photostream or Sith_fire30 Creations have seen most, if not all the work I have updated today...some of you may have not. I will post more frequently in the future :) Always, any comments and suggestions welcome...
