need comments. insults are welcome but be gentle. probably won't re-do him with your comments (too lazy) but i'll take note of them for the next custom...

thanks guys! this custom was kinda tricky..... using a galaxy prime for the torso is hard cuz he's heavy. luckily i found a way to balance his weight, and it included giving bruty bigger feet. the articulation of his ankles almost helped a lot

primus hips down to the legs. i used LEGO to stick hound and deluxe megatron on the legs.

as for the feet i used the original G1 bruticus feet but they were too small so i added galaxy primes legs/feet, thus the SNEAKERS :)

Good god man. I so want to do some combiners but I am too intimidated to do one. But I need to "Nut up or Shut up!!"

This has inspired me to start working on Devastator this winter seeing as that is the time of year I can't base coat outside and just build customs for spring/summer painting.

And as for finding anything wrong. Yeah can't find one. Color scheme is is right and I love the way you made the forearms and thighs the corresponding color to that robot the makes that limb.:raiseroof:

The individual figures could use a little cleaning up in the paint department (such as the insides of Swindle's arms, or Vortex's knee joints), but other than, this thing is /perfect/. I love the combiner head that you used. It looks great.

I think you did an unbelieveable job here, and I'll tell you why.

While I admit, I'm not as familiar with this combiner as Devastator and Menasor, this is logically, a much more difficult one to build.

Menasor is a Big Rig (including the trailor) and 4 sports cars as extremeties, so that one is very balanced.

Devastator is 6 construction vehicles that are more or less the same size, with two forming the torso and 4 as the extremeties.

This one has an arm that should by all rights be a bigger vehicle than the torso, kind of the way Starscream should be much bigger than Optimus Prime in real life.

Then you have one leg (a tank) that should be much larger than the other leg (a jeep). So, this is logistically a much harder combiner to make and have it look realistic. I think this is a fantastic effort.

thanks man.... i just wanted to do something nobody else had done before. when i started this custom, a lot of people were making devastators and menasors and superions, and i just wanted to make the one nobody else made yet.... and thanks for the in depth explanation. really cool reply

I would love to see more weathering and detail paint apps, though. Looking at Bruticus it looks like each portion is just predominantly done in one bright color. It makes for a good G1 homage but puts all that sculpted detail to waste IMO.
