I know we only do transformers but I got this old and broken Red Ferrari F50 that an officemate gave to me 2 months ago and I got an idea of restoring it but as a yellow Ferrari.

Yeap the black line is so sloppy I hate it a lot. I gave up in fixing that line...

for the black lines, do they sit flush with the yellow? or is there a slight grove for the lines?

^^there are groves for the black line that's why it's painful I tried to put a tape to act as a mask but somehow the paint sink into the tape. That's why I have to redo the paint twice in some parts...

I used a simple masking tape, is there a special kind of tape that I can use to make the paint will not get through the covered parts?

Nice colour, but too bad about those black lines. You really should redo them, maybe using diluted black, almost like a wash. That way you can easily remove any excess paint on the body.

It also seems the paint's a bit thick in some places.

You're not going to replace the window one the engine cover?
