Whipping up a TMNT sewer for a contest over on Good to Go Customs. I was planning doing this anyway, so why not put a time limit on it and TOTALLY stress myself out...lol
Dimensions will allow it to fit perfectly on a Detolf shelf which is what I was aiming for....
Anyway, really rough here, took about 1.5 hours last night of cutting foam, re-cutting foam, measuring, 3 re-designs, test fitting, etc.
I am really stuck between wanting to try and create a more "cartoony" sewer to fit in with the Neca styling, and repainting the turtles to look a bit more "realistic"

Like I said, it's not much, but I know some people like to peep WIP pictures.
stay tooned!
Anyway, everything here is just placed temporarily(hence all the tape.) The tile is staying where it is, although I will "knock out" a few on each wall to show aging. Any gaps will be filled with moss, or whatever. Anything can and will be adjusted once I decide on the final layout(pipe-wise). As you can see, I am using some actual copper pipes, but everything will be painted. I just wanted the ease of making nice bends without using something like drinking straws...lol. The two big pipes in the back won't be moved, neither will the copper pipe separating the brick from tile. I thought I had more brick, but I was wrong, so it's another trip to the craft store.
Enough talking, onto the pics!

As you can see, it will be pretty tight quarters, but this is just for displaying the turtles, not to "play" with or take a bunch of pictures from different angles. All 4 Turtles fit quite nicely in there, but I think someone is going to end up in the water....lol
Small update here. Got all the tiles base coated. I will be filling in all the mortar lines by hand(ugh). Luckily, the walls all come apart. Again, any gaps you see will be covered/filled.
I also painted the front edges black and installed my "dams" on each side to hold in the water. I put the base coat on all the piping, but don't have pics of that.
Oh! Also did the "concrete" surface areas.

ARGGGGHHHHH!!!! Really nervous I am not going to make the deadline!!!
Painted the bricks and started the weathering process......

There is so much little cleanup work with this thing, defiantly not my best work, but I blame that on the lack of time/deadline....
I am going to submit it either way, it just might not have all my ideas come to fruition.
