This was a pretty minor repaint, but the most involved of the customs I've done so far. New stripes and black hood/roof/accents, audi logo, detailed the engine sculpted into the rear window, painted the headlights and taillights, did some detailing on the wheels, then painted the robot bits flat black and drybrushed with silver, followed by some silver, red, and copper highlights. The robot parts were coated with a flat clear, while the alt mode and and the wheel/saw on his hands got a few coats of gloss. I'm doing more airbrushing with each new project, so its still a matter of trial and error for me. Its no custom combiner, but when I compare it to the first time I painted a transformer, I'm pretty impressed with how much better I've gotten. Anyway, here he is.

Man this looks so much better! Your lines are crisp. That is important when working on this scale no doubt!

Ohhh, so the wheels are his hills and the little things are his toes?!! HAHA. I thought his little feet looked stupid. BUT THEY'RE TOES!!!!

Sideways gets no love because he was only in the movie for 45 seconds or so before he was Ginsu'd by Sideswipe, lol.

Great job on an overlooked figure!

Thanks, guys. I learned a few lessons on this one. Most importantly, don't get too excited about painting the car body and do it FIRST. I had to re-spray the black by the time the robot mode was painted.
